We are all living longer. But long life alone isn't satisfying. It's the quality of our lives that really counts.
Quality of life means even more to seniors in long-term care facilities. More than 60% never have a visitor. They need help negotiating the most basic care of their bodies. They sit in wheelchairs day in and day out with little to engage them.
For hundreds of Bay Area seniors, Art With Elders (AWE) is a life-line. AWE is the quality in their lives!
